New generation high-pressure pump unit

With the high-pressure pump units of the AQUAJET^® 140 family, Hammelmann combines new features with its field-proven and established high-pressure technology.
The mobile high-pressure pump unit supplies water tools with a pressure of up to 3,200 bar or a flow rate of up to 84 l / min. Driven by a modern, economical, 160 kW strong industrial motor, 140 kW pump power is available, which can be fully used thanks to the high efficiency of the pump. The system works energy-efficiently and offers sufficient power reserves. The system achieves maximum performance even at low engine speeds, which leads to increased smooth running and low fuel consumption.

The heart of the AQUAJET^® 140 series is the HDP 140 high-pressure pump with three plungers. The company from the Westphalian town of Oelde places particular emphasis on the longevity and reliability of the high-pressure pump and the overall system. High-quality and precisely manufactured materials with high corrosion resistance and a long service life are used. The longevity is also supported by the vertical design of the pump. In addition to the smaller installation space that the HDP 140 takes up, the weight-neutral run protects the pump components and lateral vibrations are avoided, which significantly reduces the load on the frame. A patented bellows seal ensures that the crankcase is hermetically sealed from the space in between, which reliably prevents the ingress of liquids or gases. This supports a high level of operational reliability and has a positive effect on the length of the maintenance intervals.

The high-pressure system is built on a completely galvanized chassis with tandem axels and is protected by a sound-insulated hood. The large, internal fuel tank as well as the pump and motor are positioned for an optimized center of gravity. A full-area aluminum floor tray reduces the risk of environmental contamination from needed operating materials. Large side flaps ensure easy access to the components. Even in areas with low headroom, such as underground garages, service work can be carried out easily without any restrictions.

The AQUAJET^® 140 high-pressure pump unit is controlled by a completely revised control system. The "ES 4" control unit comes with a user interface on a high-resolution 10 "touch display (1280 x 800 px) and offers improved clarity. The graphical menu navigation ensures simple and intuitive operation, and the user has important parameters such as operating pressure, engine speed and fuel level in view at all times. Another element of the control unit is the construction site-compatible keypad for operating the most important functions, which can be easily operated even when wearing gloves.

With the help of conversion kits, every Hammelmann pump can be converted to other performance levels (pressure and flow rate). In the case of frequently recurring switches to other performance levels, the conversion kit can be quickly exchanged as a pre-assembled, compact unit. This simplifies the conversion and drastically reduces the time required. A wide range of options, such as a storage box on the drawbar, a frost protection system or a swiveling vice, enable the unit to be equipped to individual requirements.
